​(oval to round shaped canopy)

blue green, gray green, or dark green leaves
inconspicuous flowers
green to purple cones (Autumn), except males
​origin:  South Africa to Malawi (not invasive)
medium-high water use
clay to loamy to sandy soil with average to fast drainage
no soil amendment (per pH 5.5–6.0)
litter maintenance:  low/leaves (males) to medium-low/dry fruit (females)
low-medium flammability
medium branch strength
pruning maintenance:  medium (mostly per thinning)
allergenicity:  low (females) to high (males)
​plant at least 2 feet from masonry
​local Sunset Zones 18-24
